A part of the ageing process is the decrease in production of collagen and elastin in our skin. 

As a result, we start to see the effects of skin laxity, with loss of volume and the formation of fine lines, wrinkles and folds. 

The skin around our eyes is particularly delicate and, therefore, it can be more susceptible to developing lines and wrinkles. This, with loss of volume, means that hollows or ‘tear troughs’ can form under the eyes.  

Midface fillers restore youthful fullness to the skin. They are carefully targeted to fill out lines and folds, to plump the cheeks and fill tear troughs for an immediate freshening of the . 

Fillers can be carefully administered to the temples to lift and support the mid and lower face, often achieving a mini facelift. 

Dermal fillers are deeply hydrating, so they make the skin feel plump and soft.

As the delicate skin under the eyes become more lined, the upper cheeks lose their youthful volume. This can result in hollows under the eyes and the appearance of dark circles.

Tear trough fillers gently plump out fine lines and wrinkles, and fill the hollowed area under the eyes to reduce the appearance of dark circles. The result is a refreshed, rejuvenated appearance.

By restoring lost volume to the cheeks, dermal fillers add youthful fullness to the mid face, and in doing so, there is a lifting effect on the lower face.
