The latest Bose Sport Earbuds Truly Wireless are sleeker and smaller than the QuietComfort buds, and have superior microphones for calls. They are also sweat-resistant and come with a charging case.

Active Noise Cancellation

The Bose QuietComfort line is known for its superior noise cancellation, but the company produces a variety of premium headphones and earbuds that don't need or offer it. Its products typically occupy a premium price point and use premium materials, however, they're also light and sweat-proof, making them comfortable for long listening sessions.

The flagship 700s are a fantastic example of this. They feature an upgraded eight-microphone (six for cancelling sounds, two to pick a voice) and eleven custom ANC modes. You can listen to the world around you or block the world completely. They also come with a "Conversation Mode" button that lets you temporarily pause your music to place calls or make a quick announcement.

The buds come with a battery life of up to five hours, which is sufficient for most workouts. The buds come with a built in microphone and are waterproof. You can control the buds via the remote that comes with them or the companion app. The app allows you to adjust the settings for Bose Aware Mode and ANC.

Controls

The 700s don't have physical controls for the ear cups, unlike the majority of Bose's headphones Apple. Instead there's a touch panel in the front portion of the right ear cup that detects finger taps and swipes. Tap twice to play/pause, swipe up and down to adjust the volume, and swipe forward to skip tracks. A single tap answers calls, while the double tap will reject an incoming call.

The headset allows you to switch on the "aware" mode, which allows some passthrough of your environment. It's a great feature for anyone who wants to be aware of their environment while listening to music or making phone calls.

Another feature of the 700s is a motion sensor that shuts down your headphones after a certain amount of inactivity.
